A free public open house is set to begin on Saturday, October 12 and go through October 19, 2019, for the Asunción Paraguay Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Open house hours include Monday through Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. No tours on Sunday. Reservations are not needed.
The temple will be rededicated Sunday, November 3, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. (Asunción time) by Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. The temple will reopen for temple patrons on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
Gordon B. Hinckley, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1995 to 2008, originally dedicated the Asunción Paraguay Temple on May 19, 2002.

ASUNCIÓN PARAGUAY TEMPLE FACTS
When originally dedicated in 2002, The Asuncion Paraguay Temple became the 112th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worldwide and the first temple in Paraguay.
It was closed in 2017 for significant repair work and renovation and will be rededicated on 3 November 2019. There are several other temples in the neighboring countries of Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Bolivia. The Asuncion Temple will serve some 100,000 Church members in Paraguay and the surrounding area.
