“When I’m grateful for what the Lord has given me, this love opens doors.” Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles says he can #HearHim thanks to the love he feels from the Savior.

Elder Uchtdorf is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Follow him on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/dieterf.ucht…

Just as Joseph Smith was asked to #HearHim in the spring of 1820, we are asked to #HearHim today as we celebrate the Restoration of Jesus Christ’s Gospel.

Our Savior still speaks to us. As we follow His commandments we will #HearHim. Share your experiences and act on what you hear as you feel the joy the Savior’s words bring.

How do you #HearHim? Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf says love is a bridge that connects him to the Savior Jesus Christ

Elder Gerrit W. Gong

How do you #HearHim? According to Elder Gong, we can hear the Lord’s voice – and feel His love for us – by serving others, one by one. One of the great privileges that the Lord gives us is to reach out to His sons and daughters.

And as we try to reach out in service to those around us, I think the Lord gives us an extra measure of His love for them, and therefore, for us. I think we hear His voice.

We feel Him in a different way as we pray to help those around us, because that’s one of the prayers that He most wants to answer. I think as we have the privilege to reach one on one with each other, we can feel the Lord’s love for us, one by one. I’m even learning or trying to learn how to say that in Spanish. The idea that He does love us, each of us, one by one, is really true
